Job Title: Operations Manager

About Noughts and Kisses:
Noughts and Kisses is a cutting-edge fashion brand with a passion for bringing catwalk inspired styles to the fashion savvy 25–35-year-old female. We’re a dynamic, fast-paced business with a growing presence in the e-commerce space, and we’re looking for an Operations Manager to oversee our Warehouse and Customer service departments.

Position Overview:
You’ll be responsible for managing and optimising all aspects of our warehouse operations and customer service. From implementing new systems to improving efficiency across inbound/outbound logistics and creating a five-star customer experience, this role is central to our success.

Warehouse & Logistics Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound deliveries, outbound order fulfilment, and returns processing
  • Streamline and optimise the picking and packing process for speed and accuracy
  • Lead the implementation of a new Warehouse Management System (WMS) – prior experience overseeing a similar project is essential
  • Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts, ensuring accurate inventory control
  • Identify and drive operational efficiencies across logistics, storage, and fulfilment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised warehouse environment in line with health & safety standards
  • Liaise with couriers and shipping partners to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery
  • Support the setup of new processes or technologies as the business grows

Team Management

  • Manage and develop a team of 3 warehouse operatives, with plans to scale as needed
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance reviews
  • Build a positive, motivated, and accountable team culture

 

Customer Service

  • Oversee one Customer Service Executive, ensuring prompt and empathetic responses to daily queries via email and social platforms
  • Implement improved processes and service standards to enhance the customer journey
  • Handle complex escalations, complaints or returns cases when needed
  • Monitor customer feedback and suggest improvements across the business

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar operations, warehouse, or logistics management role
  • Proven experience implementing and managing a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Strong understanding of inventory and stock control processes
  • Experience managing and scaling small teams
  • Highly organised, with a solutions-first mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment
  • A customer-centric approach with a drive to continually improve the experience
